Fnac refurbished deals are worth comparing if you want an iPhone, laptop or gaming console at a lower price without automatically giving up consumer protection. Fnac's 2nde Vie programme covers products such as customer returns, display models and refurbished devices that have been tested, cleaned and, where necessary, repaired or reset.
Fnac advertises savings of up to 50% compared with the last new price observed in its stores on selected 2nde Vie products. Its programme also states that eligible products benefit from a two-year legal conformity guarantee and a 15-day period to change your mind. Marketplace items can have different sellers and after-sales arrangements, so check the exact listing before purchasing.
With Black Friday falling on 27 November 2026, refurbished devices are an alternative worth comparing alongside new products. Start with Fnac's official 2nde Vie selection and compare the actual price, condition, warranty and seller rather than relying on the discount percentage alone.

Best Refurbished iPhone Deals at Fnac
A refurbished iPhone 15 is worth considering if you want a relatively recent iPhone without paying the price of a newer-generation model. Choose the storage capacity and condition carefully, because the lowest-priced listing may not offer the battery or cosmetic quality you prefer.
Fnac's product listings have shown refurbished 128GB iPhone 15 models from around €403, depending on condition and seller. Other versions, including refurbished iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max devices, may also be available at higher prices.
Before buying, check:
Battery health: Look for an explicit battery-capacity figure or a clear statement about battery replacement. Do not assume every refurbished phone has a new battery.
Cosmetic grade: Screen marks and body scratches can differ considerably between condition categories.
Storage and connectivity: Confirm the exact capacity, SIM configuration and network compatibility.
Activation and security: Ensure the device has been reset and is not locked to another owner's Apple account.
Warranty and returns: Confirm who handles repairs and the terms that apply to that specific listing.
Fnac also lists devices refurbished by partner brands such as Reborn. A partner-refurbished product is not necessarily processed by Fnac's own technicians, so inspect the refurbishment description and seller details.

Best Refurbished Laptop Deals at Fnac
Refurbished business laptops can be particularly good value because they often provide practical specifications for office work, study and browsing at a lower price than a comparable new machine. However, a lower price is only worthwhile if the processor, RAM, battery and operating system remain suitable for your workload.
One example listed on Fnac is the HP EliteBook 840 G8, with a 14-inch display, Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD, at €429 against a displayed reference price of €699. This is a useful configuration to consider for documents, web research, video calls and routine multitasking.
Fnac has also listed a refurbished MacBook Air 2020 with an Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD at €309.99, against €419 displayed. This older configuration may suit light everyday use, but check supported macOS versions and software compatibility before buying it for long-term use.
When comparing laptop offers, prioritise:
RAM: 16GB is a useful target for heavier multitasking, while 8GB may be enough for lighter tasks.
Storage: A 256GB SSD is a reasonable baseline; consider 512GB if you work with large files.
Battery condition: Ask whether the battery has been tested and whether any health information is available.
Operating system support: Verify that the device can run the software and security updates you need.
Physical condition: Inspect photographs and the grade description, especially for hinges, keyboard, screen and casing.

Best Refurbished Gaming Console Deals at Fnac
A refurbished console can be an economical way to access an established gaming library, especially if you do not need the latest model. Fnac's second-hand console section includes PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch systems, although availability and condition vary by listing.
A refurbished Nintendo Switch with Joy-Con controllers has appeared at approximately €220.99, compared with a displayed reference price of €269.99. Before buying, check which Switch version is included, whether the dock and charger are supplied, and whether both controllers work correctly.
For a PlayStation or Xbox console, check the following:
Included accessories: Confirm the controller, power cable, HDMI cable and other advertised components are included.
Hardware condition: Check the ventilation, ports, disc drive where applicable and controller buttons.
Seller identity: A marketplace seller may manage customer service and returns directly.
Storage and model: Confirm whether it is a standard or digital edition and whether the capacity meets your needs.
Compare the Fnac second-hand console catalogue with the price of a new console before deciding. A small discount may not justify buying a used system if a new model includes a full manufacturer warranty or a game bundle.
Fnac Refurbished Condition Grades Explained
Fnac 2nde Vie uses four main cosmetic grades to help buyers understand the visible condition of a refurbished product. A cosmetic grade is not a substitute for checking the functional testing, battery condition and included accessories.
Grade | What it means |
|---|---|
Parfait état | No visible cosmetic defects |
Très bon état | Minor cosmetic imperfections |
Bon état | Small, visible cosmetic defects |
État correct | Clearly visible cosmetic defects |
Fnac describes its refurbishment process as including quality checks, repairs or part replacement when needed, data reset where necessary, cleaning and repackaging. Products may have original packaging or replacement packaging.
These grades describe appearance, not necessarily battery capacity or the remaining service life of a device. Read the individual listing carefully, particularly for phones and laptops where battery performance can influence everyday usability.
See Fnac's official 2nde Vie programme for the programme's descriptions and conditions.
Refurbished vs New: Which Offers Better Value?
Refurbished products are most attractive when the saving is substantial and the device still has enough useful life to meet your needs. New products may be preferable when you need the latest specifications, maximum battery life or a manufacturer-specific warranty.
Use this comparison before deciding:
Factor | Refurbished | New |
|---|---|---|
Purchase price | Often lower | Usually higher for the same model |
Cosmetic condition | Depends on the listed grade | Generally unmarked |
Battery | May show wear unless replaced | Generally unused |
Warranty | Depends on the seller and programme; legal protections apply | Legal protections plus any applicable manufacturer warranty |
Packaging and accessories | May be replacement or generic | Usually standard retail packaging |
Best for | Saving money on a suitable existing model | Latest features and maximum choice |
Fnac's 2nde Vie programme states that its eligible products have a two-year legal conformity guarantee and a 15-day period to change your mind. For third-party marketplace products, check the seller's specific terms and who provides after-sales service. Fnac's marketplace guidance explains how to identify the seller and delivery provider.
How to Find the Best Fnac Refurbished Deals on Black Friday
Compare refurbished and new prices for the same model before purchasing during Black Friday. Fnac's official Black Friday page identifies 27 November 2026 as the event date and notes the growing relevance of second-hand shopping.
Make a shortlist of the iPhone, laptop or console you need, then compare its condition grade, specifications and seller. Check the final basket price, delivery costs, warranty and return terms. A refurbished product may already be discounted before Black Friday, so do not assume the event will produce a lower price.
Start with Fnac's official offers and compare them with the Black Friday page as offers are published.
Conclusion
Fnac refurbished deals can offer meaningful savings on iPhones, laptops and gaming consoles, provided you check the condition, battery, specifications and seller before buying. An iPhone 15 may be a good option for a lower-cost upgrade, a refurbished business laptop can suit everyday productivity, and a second-hand console can provide access to games at a reduced upfront cost.
Compare the exact device with its new equivalent, verify the legal guarantee and return conditions, and check the current listing on Fnac.com before ordering.
FAQs
Are Fnac refurbished products covered by a warranty?
Eligible Fnac 2nde Vie products benefit from a two-year legal conformity guarantee. Marketplace products may have different after-sales arrangements, so check the seller and warranty conditions displayed on the individual listing.
What is the difference between refurbished and second-hand?
Second-hand generally means previously owned. Refurbished products have undergone some form of inspection, testing and, where necessary, repair or reset, although the precise process depends on the seller.
Is a refurbished iPhone worth buying?
It can be, particularly if the price is substantially lower than that of a comparable new device. Check battery condition, storage, cosmetic grade, activation status and the applicable warranty.
Are refurbished laptops suitable for work?
Yes, if their specifications and software support suit your workload. For many office tasks, 16GB of RAM and an SSD are useful benchmarks, but processor age, battery health and operating system support also matter.
Are refurbished gaming consoles cheaper than new ones?
Often, but savings and availability vary. Check the exact console generation, controller condition, included cables, storage and seller before comparing it with a new console or bundle.
